His television production company recently made a profit of £52million and as he holidays with his ex-lovers in St. Barts it would seem life is all good for Simon Cowell.
However that didn’t appear to be the case on Thursday as he let his body image issues get in the way of his relaxing day aboard his luxury yacht.
Cowell, 53, was seen trying to shield his moobs with a magazine as he took to the top deck for a lounging session with his former fiancée Mezhgan Hussiany.
With Mezhgan showing off her impeccable bikini body it’s understandable why Cowell was not exuding his usual confident persona.
As Simon made his way to the lounging area he was seen holding a Top Gear magazine to his chest as Hussainy followed closely behind with a cigarette in hand.
Once in a relaxing position, Cowell put his reading material to one side and opted to use his left hand to hid his chest as chatted away with his ex-girlfriend.
And making sure his tan is perfect when he returns to work, the X Factor boss was also pictured spraying his face with sun protector as he sported a pair of white swimming trunks.
Simon is said to be ‘casually dating’ Carmen Electra following the sparks that flew when he invited her to take a seat next to him on Britain’s Got Talent as a guest judge.
But as Cowell soaked up the sun during his annual get away it seems things were heating up between him and his ex-fiancée Mezhgan.
Mezhgan, who obviously couldn’t care less about Simon’s moobs, was seen provocatively leaning over the mogul on as they enjoyed some iced beverages aboard their grand vessel.
Wearing a blue reptile print two-piece bikini, Hussainy tempted Cowell as she crawled over to him as while he held a conversation on his phone.
Attending to the pressing situation in front of him, Simon wasted no time ending his call to give his former flame his full attention.
Comfortably by Simon’s side, the pair were then handed some cocktails by a member of the cabin crew, and not long after Cowell was back on his phone – no doubt discussing his plans for world domination in 2013.
Simon and Mezhgan became engaged in 2010, but called things off earlier last year.
The split only became public knowledge when Tom Bower published his unauthorised biography Sweet Revenge: The Intimate Life Of Simon Cowell.
The acid-tongued judge confessed in the book that he made a mistake asking her to marry him: ‘We came to the conclusion that I’m a hopeless boyfriend.’
He was reported to have given Hussainy a £5million mansion in Beverly Hills as compensation for the embarrassment of cancelling the engagement.
Despite Simon and Mezhgan’s adoring display, she’s not the only woman on board as Cowell’s best-friend and ex-lover Sinitta is also holidaying with them.
In fact the only woman absent from his trip was his new flame Carmen Electra.
A delighted Cowell confirmed he was dating the former Baywatch star recently, however it seems that she didn’t get an invite to the star’s annual Caribbean jaunt, as he was doted on by his coterie of exes.
Carmen who met Cowell when she was a judge on BGT has said she ‘adores’ the X Factor supremo, but while he admitted they are dating he was very clear about the status of their relationship.
The music mogul told American Idol host Ryan Seacrest on his radio show: ‘She’s not my girlfriend. We’re people who date.’
